Scott Carrino
Co-director of Pompanuck and co-owner of the Round House Bakery, Scott is also a tai ji instructor, earned a BA in Literature (Hofstra University, 1980), a Massage Therapy License, (CCMT, 1986) and has been cultivating Tai Ji learning and an understanding of human consciousness since 1976. He has been a publisher and editor, community activist, an environmental lobbyist, a Rock and Roll stagehand supervisor, a NYC theatre set designer and technician and has designed lighting for dance, music, and performance arts. He has been a designer and builder of conventional and alternative houses and is an avid organic gardener. He is a singer/songwriter and has performed in coffee houses, cafes, and events with his many musical friends.
For the past 20 years Scott has been a Tai Ji teacher/mentor and an explorer of conscious relationships and sustainability using the Tao as his inspiration. He has made many mistakes and learned much over the years and continues to unfold and in his relationships with his life partner, Lisa, and their two daughters and son. As a founding member of Pompanuck Farm, he is committed to living a joyous, honest, creative and transparent life.
